Foot Pain Treatment

Have you been searching for Foot Pain Treatment Tips?  Read on you have come to the right place.

Foot Pain can be caused by a number of factors and can be felt on various parts of the foot, in all cases, there are biomechanical imbalances at play.  Some examples are pronation and supination of the feet and an imbalanced pelvis

At KINETIC we start the process by conducting a thorough assessment, starting with gait analysis, assessing movement patterns and range of movement tests.

Once we understand your context we tailor a treatment plan specifically to you, want to know more read on.

Some examples of the patterns at play are as follows:

  • Pronation of the feet (where the foot lands on the inside arch) this can cause various types of compensation patterns.
  • Supination of the feet, (where the foot lands on the outside arch) as with pronation this also can cause compensation patterns.  One correlation is a tight ITB.  Due to landing on the outside arch, the force comes up the outside of the leg, contributing to tight overactive ITBs.

At KINETIC we assess, conduct tests, observe GAIT (the way you walk) piece the picture together.

We then explain the puzzle and tailor a plan, just for you.
